The Different Ways That Double Faced Tape Could Be Used

By Ines Brennan

There are many divergent uses of double faced tape. As it sticks on both sides, it can prove to be useful both inside and outside of a house. It can be found online, in craft shops, and anywhere where school supplies are sold and comes in a variety of sizes. Some things that people commonly use it for include decorations on windows/walls, scrapbooking, class projects, pictures that are in frames, light objects that need to be mounted together, and badges that have to be stuck on a person. These will all be reviewed more below.

Decorations that are hung on both walls and windows are among the items that this product is utilized for. It looks nicer when things can be hung up with something that is invisible. Clear pieces of this product can be placed on windows or walls, and then decorations can go over them. Around holidays, this product is of particular use, as people tend to put up decorative pictures in their house and outside of it.

This product can also be utilized where scrapbooks are concerned. Over the years, scrapbooking has become a rather popular hobby. One would not want tape to be seen all over the pages of these books. The double sided type makes it possible to stick photos and more into the books with visual appeal and little mess.

School-related projects are great things to use this product on. Unlike glue, which could be rather messy, this tape may work better for youngsters who need to stick items onto pieces of paper. However, glue tends to work better for certain projects. With this said, students should see on project to project basis what needs to be used.

This item is very useful when it comes to pictures that are in frames. Many times pictures will fall out of place when they are not stuck to the inside back piece of a frame. All one needs to do is take one piece of this tape and place it on the picture's back and then stick it to the frame. This will prevent the photo from moving around when the frame is picked up or moved to another location.

This item is useful for light objects that need to be mounted together by some sticky substance. Tiny toy pieces come to mind. It must be said however that glue typically does a better job of holding things together than even the best of tapes does.

Badges that need to be stuck onto a person's shirt can be stuck to the individual by using this product. It is not as expensive as labels, and an individual would have to stick the product to some paper and then to the person.

There are various things that double faced tape is used for. These include scrapbooks, class projects, pictures that are in frames, window and wall decorations, and more. The product can be bought online, in craft stores, and in other places.
