The Unbelievably Hot Bhut Jolokia Sauce

Bhut Jolokia is one of the hottest things you can imagine. It is probably the hottest chilies ever, four hundred times hotter than Tabasco. Bhut Jolokia sauce usually contains some amount of this amazingly hot chili, together with some other ingredients, for example tomatoes, onions, garlic, paprika, coriander and different spices.

Bhut Jolokia peppers, or Ghost peppers, come from India. People use them there for centuries, but they were unknown in Western world until twelve or thirteen years ago. Now they are extremely popular just about everywhere, especially among the people who like their meals very hot. Formerly hottest chili was called Red Savina Habanero, but it just cannot be compared with this one.

Bhut Jolokia chili peppers are incredibly hot, but they also have very nice taste and strong, intoxicating aroma. You should add only a small amount in your meals, because it is so incredibly powerful. Make sure to use gloves when slicing or chopping your peppers, even when they are dry.

Aromatic and hot, thanks to its most important ingredient, known by the name Capsaicin; this plant also has numerous benefits on human health. It can be used in pain treatment, especially when it comes to joint and muscle pain, as well as arthritis pains. It is also very effective in sinus and headache pain relief, and even in fighting several types of cancer.

This special ingredient proved to be effective on other areas as well. It lowers blood pressure and affects circulation. It is very good for your heart and other organs, but it can also help you lose weight. It encourages natural cleansing processes and has numerous benefits on your digestion. Since people learned more about it, Capsaicin is added to numerous dietary products.

You will find all kinds of recipes for different dishes with Ghost chili. Some of those recipes are very simple to make. Peppers are available as dry fruits, in form of a powder, fresh or in form of convenient little flakes. In any case, you can easily make your own spiced oil. If you cook dried Ghosts in good oil, you can keep this oil in the fridge for a month. It is even easier to simply pour some olive oil over them and leave it there for a while.

Salsa is very easy to prepare as well. First, you need to rehydrate your Ghosts. Just cook them in water for a while. Second, put everything in your blender, add sea salt and tomatoes, canned or fresh, white vinegar and some garlic. Mixture can be kept in your refrigerator for maybe a week or so.

Bhut Jolokia sauce is easy to prepare. You will need one or two Ghost peppers, chopped onions, one or two cloves of garlic, some olive oil and a can of whole tomatoes. Fry your chopped onions on some olive oil for a few minutes, then add other chopped ingredients. Season with a little bit of sea salt and cook for approximately 30 minutes on low heat. You can add different spices of your choice.
